ROBERT BECKER

I worked as a legal secretary to the late Robert D. Becker in the early 70's when he had an office in the A and D bldg on 59 St. I loved working with him. He was a lovely family man and was wonderful to work for. I think about him from time to time over the years. May his memory be for a blessing and may he rest in peace

I cherish the many family celebrations I was privileged to share with my joyful, generous, astute and loving friend, Robert Becker. Bob loved to share his many passions, especially those of his family with everyone. He was a very gracious host, a faithful friend, benevolent patriarch, a much loved dad, father-in-law, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle and someone you always looked forward to spending time with. I will miss you.

Bob served as long time treasurer to our New York County Lawyers Association Committee on the (state) Supreme Court, typical of his generosity and reliable excellence. I can hear him now. intoning his reports. He will be missed.

Every time we would get together Bob liked to tell Marilyn and I about his latest court case- one that was out of the ordinary and was complicated to win- I will miss our dear friend for 50 years--Mark and Marilyn
