I haven't been in contact with Bob for more than 60 years, but he (along with his father) was responsible for one of my fondest memories. Bob was a classmate and friend of mine at All Saints elementary school in Riverside. In August 1961, there was a train excursion to Cleveland for an Indians - Yankees doubleheader; the price was $13.
