I knew Bob through tennis.For many years he played with the Bad News Bears.I was working at CITC at the time when Bob was a member.He was an outstanding person who loved working with Special Olympics.Bob was a hero to many and always had a smile.Rest in peace Bob.My deepest sympathy to Marilyn and his family.

I have known Bob in some capacity since the mid 1990´s when he was a volunteer at Metro school. He was our Santa every year, bringing joy to special needs kids. When my own special needs daughter graduated from high school, she needed something besides her job to keep her busy and to make friends. She attended Camp Soar, which Bob founded and it changed her life. It introduced her to many sports and she picked Tennis. She has been playing for 15 years and has made many friends because of this...

Mr. Bob was a blessing to me and my family. He always had a smile on his face and that made me smile. He will be missed. Praying comfort for your family.
