My father was like an onion - he had many layers. We will never know the depth and breadth of who he truly was. However, he will be missed by his family and those he actually cared for. In his later years, he showed up for his grandchildren in the best way he knew how, and I appreciate that deeply. Lyra and I will miss you and are so grateful for the time we got to spend.
