Robert W. Callies

I met Robert several years ago when my wife and I went to Wisconsin to meet most of the family for the first time. I remember being introduced to Robert as Shanelle's boy-friend and was very pleased to know that she had found a very nice young man that accompanied her so well and as all good stories go they fell deeply in love, married and started a family. My deepest sympathy to the Callies family and his wife and children. I have known Robert since I was in grade school and his wife since high school. My prayers go out to the family. Robert was a great man and his memory will go on.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Callies family. My memories of Bobby are limited to childhood family gatherings, and although I never knew "Robert", I can see by all the guest book entries that he was very much loved by his family and friends and will never be forgotten.

Shanelle is one of my bestest friends. I have known Robert and Shanelle since Middle School. We all have many memories together!! He was a wonderful dad, to two beautiful boys. He was a wonderful Uncle to my children also. He was always smiling and would always make everyone else smile. Shanelle, Brendan, and Carter we love you very much and will always be there for you.

I am totally shocked. I learned that Robert passed away on 03-10-05. He was a very humorous, nice and helpful person. Robert and I worked together for DOC. During the brief time I knew him, he always had a smile on his face. He was truly fond of "gourmet popcorn", and on occasion, I would bring in some for him. He will truly be missed!!

I've known Robert since 4th Grade and I'm so happy to know that my fiance got to know him before he passed away. Robert, you could always make us smile and although we wanted you to stand up in our wedding we know that you can't be there physically, but you will be standing with us at the altar in spirit.
