We still remember you Bob. Both you and Christian at many Taekwondo competitions.

Dearest Bob:
Today is Veteran's Day 2004. We stand at attention and salute you. We live in a free country because of you and your band of brothers and sisters in our armed services. As we pay respect today, your body rests in a most honorable National Cemetery; your soul is in eternal bliss with our Heavenly Father; memories of you are very much alive in our hearts. Words cannot express how deeply I miss you, my Chappy.

Bob,
We still miss you at tournaments. We miss your emails. We miss your photos.

Christian,
Hang in there. One day you will be able to understand all of this. You remain in our thoughts.

It has been a year since Bob died and I still feel the sadness and loss. I hope Bob is looking down and helping to guide our lives.

It's so hard to know that Bob's not in our presence anymore, but he will forever be in our hearts. I recently was watching some old home movies (video now, I had them converted over) of when Bob and my brother-in-law (who passed away 9 years ago and Bob was there to the last with us) "Bata Boot" Bennett were in Key West with the Dive School. Throughout my course of life here on earth, i've never met anyone, nor will ever meet anyone like Mr. Chaplin. He is an individual that valued life itself, and understood the concept of hardwork. Six months ago today, you were taken from us, our Chappy.
In some ways, it seems as though you left us just yesterday,
Bob, for the wounds in our hearts are still fresh and sting deeply
over losing you. In other ways, it feels so much longer, since
every day without you feels like forever. When our sorrow seems
overwhelming, we remember the great times with you and treasure
