Not sure what to say?

Dear Robert, I cried in my heart when I learned that you passed away. You've been very kind to me. I remember that I bought two life insurance and every time you came to the antique shop where I worked on Union Street close to your office you always said"Hi Doris!" I lost my honest friend. Sincerely, Doris Schubbe (formerly D. Teodora Baladad)

Journeying through, I just wanted to share this msg. before I take off tommorrow. I came across a friend who spoked of Robert in their past path @ one time or another here in the San Francisco area, still a beautiful city to visit/live as they had bumped into/greeted one another, a former CCSF classmate of Robert's. We had a moment just yesterday evening via phone, October 10, 2012 touching base about our most busiest past weekend ever here in San Francisco. Our topic still remained about...

I worked with Robert at Grubb & Ellis years ago and remember him with the fondest of memories - he was a happy soul and had a lovely gentle way about him. I am very sorry for your loss - a loss for all of us.

I am so sad to hear about Robert's passing. I would always see Robert and Rod working out so hard at the Koret gym. Robert and I both had serious medical problems and Robert's spirit and strength were a great inspiration to me I always felt that if he could do it, so could I. He loved life and fought for every second. I miss my friend.

Rita and I send our condolences to Roberta and Robert's family. We will not be able to attend the memorial services as we are in Italy. When we travel to Tuscany next week, we will feel Robert's presence. We shared his love for that special part of the world. He certainly knew his way to a fine restaurant.

You will be missed by all those who knew you.

I met Robert and his pal Rod at the Koret Center some years ago. Robert impressed all who were lucky enough to know him there with his wit, humor and love of life (food) and incredibly casual way of persevering. He inspired us and we will not forgot him. His gym pal, Marla McGowan
