Not sure what to say?

Friday I was in an event where many who attended either knew or knew of Dr. Cochran. Everyone had fond memories to share. Even in his death, Dr Cochran continues to be a positive force!

I was thinking about Dr. Cochran again today. I was so very fortunate to be his patient; to learn from him about chronic pain, and to have hope for real management through his care. He was one of the
finest practitioners, and human beings I have ever met. He was ahead of the medical model and pushed through much resistance from colleagues. The world was blessed with him in it.

Dr. Cochran was a good man. He tried to help me and ease my suffering. I am sorry that he has passed.

I never met Dr. Cochran. I called him one day - out of the blue to talk about his book, his practice and to speak about my problems. The problems of a perfect stranger. He listened to me and answered all of my questions without any hesitation. I spoke to him quite a few times. This man was a doctor at his core. He cared about me and I was a stranger. I am so sad to hear he is gone.

So sorry to hear of the doctor's passing. I am reading his "The Opiate Cure." I believe there is a lot of valuable truth and info in this book. I wish the family every blessing. A. Rice.

I am so sorry to the family for your loss. I never met him but we have emailed and talked on the phone and I love reading his books. I have great respect for him and do so appreciate his genuine love and concern for his patients. Pain doctors now prescribe at a level that keeps them comfortable whereas Dr. Cochran was more concerned with his patients needs. He was a true Medical Maverick and will be greatly missed.

My. Sincere condolences to the Cochran family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Robert had the same spirit as Jesus had when it came to help people. I'm sure he will be among the ones Jesus promised to bring back to life when he said "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day.

As our family physician, Dr. Cochran meant more to us than I can say over the years. He was a wonderful doctor and a kind, compassionate man.

Sorry to hear about your dad. I never met him and from what I have read ,you Rob,have his spirit.
