Robert Conklin

Coach Conklin was the greatest influence in my life outside of my family. He coached wrestling for five or six years. I realize how phenomenally fortunate we were that our three years aligned with his time. He instilled a desire to do your best just by being in the room. He was a quiet leadership force. Seeing the respect others had for him and learning more about him personally and professionally, I could never bring myself to call him "Rob".
