I was crossing the border in Nogales Sonora and a lady opened the window and asked me if I was Doctor and told her I was not. So I told her the reason why I have "Dr Bob" is in memory of Dr Robert Crowdes who passed last year. She inmediatelly said : "I know Dr Crowdes". At that time I had to move forward and never saw the lady again.

Dr. Crowdes was my daughter's first pediatrician; he was in the OR with me when she was delivered prematurely by C-section. When she was diagnosed at 9 weeks of age with a rare genetic defect, Dr. Crowdes had my husband and I come in after-hours to meet with him, just so that he could check-in and see how we were doing emotionally, and to make sure that our needs, as well as hers, were being addressed. We were just talking about Dr. Crowdes yesterday! He was our family pediatrician for many years. He was so kind and attentive. With 4 kids, we saw him often! He will be missed and remembered fondly, Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones,

Rest in peace to an amazing Doctor. May you be blessed with God's love and grace. I pray the Lord is with your family and all who knew and loved you.
