My sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Edwin Dade. Although it has been many years since I had seen Edwin, I was saddened to learn of his sudden passing and the impact it has on his family. I, too, was one who grew up in Hidden Valley in Lafayette in the early 1950's and the Dade family were special friends. John was my age, Edwin a year older, and Margaret younger. Ed was an Outstanding Man and Father. He has brightened everyone’s life he had come in contact with. Crystal, Samantha, Abigail & I will miss him terribly.

Though I had not seen Edwin in many years, I have happy memories of growing up on Hidden Valley Road with Edwin, John and Margaret (Margo).

Our wishes for his family are for peace and comfort in dealing with their devastating loss.
