Robert Lea Danner Sr.

Bob was youth pastor at Central Christian Church in Van Nuys in 1955, when I was nine. He was a kind and friendly man and, in large part, responsible for my decision to be baptised that year. I wish we had not lost contact after we moved to northern California. I am still a Christ follower because he helped to lay a foundation for me that is strong and lasting.

To say that I thank my lucky stars that I was fortunate enough to meet and work with Bob for over eleven years in the offices of Atlantic University can not begin to describe the joy I experienced during that time. Rev. Bob Danner made a big difference in my life as I got to know and Love our Lord. Thanks to him and his family for opening my eyes as a young child in which I am still serving and attending the same church many years later. We are saddened by this news and we are thinking about Marilyn and the whole family. I valued my time working with Bob and Marilyn for many years at Tidewater UCC. I especially celebrate their spirit and know that this is a time to say Amen for a life well lived! I was hoping to be at the service, but I can't physically be there.
