Bob was quite a guy...great athlete, great sense of humor, good friend..really a special person... everyone loved & respected him ..too bad he wasn't competitive or intense enough! Bob, brother frank & dad lefty are legendary in winthrop sports. Rest easy, friend. Prayers to you.

Defelice Family, sorry for your loss. I always remember how fair and funny Mister Defelice was to all students. May you rest in peace Mister Defelice.

The best football coach in Winthrop , was a mentor to all his kid's . When ever you got out of line the principle would send you to coach for punishment. Thanks for all the hard conversations in my life. Louis Mario

Coach ended up being my mentor in my High School years that gave me the life lessons to give me the drive to succeed The memorable times of getting up at 5am to meet at WHS gym for our floor hockey battles to taking batting practice on Sunday mornings with Coach and Mike and Frankie DeMarco and the hours I got to share with Coach one on one sitting in his office my senior year will always be my treasures of our friendship ::: The Best Leader Ever

Great stand-up guy , great family. Competitive and fun. Bob's father was especially nice to me. RIP Bob.

Coach DeFelice was one of the most competitive men I knew. He was sincere, honest and tough. He was well respected through out the state and his teams were always ready for battle. He was a great man, father and coach. I for one held him in high esteem for all the years I coached against him. He will now be with all the other great coaches who have passed in our area. That could be the hardest ticket to get a seat for. Rest in peace Coach. You are loved and respected by many. ...

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
