Bob was quite a guy...great athlete, great sense of humor, good friend..really a special person... everyone loved & respected him ..too bad he wasn't competitive or intense enough! Bob, brother frank & dad lefty are legendary in winthrop sports. Rest easy, friend. Prayers to you.

The best football coach in Winthrop , was a mentor to all his kid's . When ever you got out of line the principle would send you to coach for punishment. Thanks for all the hard conversations in my life. Louis Mario

I would like to express my condolences for your loss. I can't imagine how it feels to not have him in your lives anymore. I feel a void also. Coach DeFelice was one of the most competitive men I knew. He was sincere, honest and tough. He was well respected through out the state and his teams were always ready for battle. He was a great man, father and coach. I for one held him in high esteem for all the years I coached against him. He will now be with all the other great coaches who have passed in our area.
