Not sure what to say?

Remembrances are gifts - even as Bob was a gift. I was glad to hear that a special time of remembering Bob will be happening soon.

In my upper left-hand desk drawer, I still have a packet of rubber-band- bound Day-Timers, the last of which is from 2000, when I retired and began keeping track of what was going on thru my I-phone. Call it nostalgia, but that packet also keeps me in touch with my remembrances about Bob and his easy going wisdom and his personal interaction with...

So sad to learn of Bob's passing. He was a man I admired and look-up to. During the early 1970's, while working as an air cargo salesman, I called on Bob. We struck up a good rapport. I was an avid user of Day-Timers, and was surprised to see my business card in the card holder used in the next catalogue. It was the card I gave Bob when we first met. Mrs Sherry Dorney, Vince, Anne, Colleen and Tom, our sincere condolences to you and your entire family. Bob sounds like he lived a full and special life. God bless, Nick and Kara (Pauls) Sorrentino

Rest in peace Mr. Dorney. My deepest condolences to the family. Bob and Hazel were very good friends to my parents...

So sorry to hear your Dad passed. Condolences to the family

Dear Hazel and Faye and family,

The description of Bob as someone who would...give the shirt off his back is so apropos. But Bob also gave of what he was as well as what he had. We were privileged to know him both thru Hope United Church of Christ where he was a member for many years and thru the Lehigh Conference of Churches, where his ideas indirectly helped shape our vision. Bob shared his wisdom as well as his substance and was always available for a little brain picking. ...

Sue and Craig:

Sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of Craig's father. The obituary provided insight to a life well lived.

Hazel and family, My sympathies go out to all of you. I met Bob through my work at the Wildlands Conservancy and then at DeSales University, too. He was a generous person who will be missed.

A good friend is gone. His advice to me, many years ago, lives on. May God bless his soul. Jack delhagen
