Dr. Robert Gordon Ellison Sr.

American Cardiothoracic Surgery has lost one of its giants with the death of Robert Ellison. The memory of his magnificant accomplishments will live forever. Our prayers are with Lois and their children.

Dear Lois,

It has always been a pleasure to have the Ellison's attend the Tri-State Consecutive Case Conference on Lung Disese and to see the lovely Ellison family at Saturday evening's dinner.

Dr. Mark: We were sorry to read of your father's death. Treasure all the wonderful family memories you must have.

'Dr. Bob' and his twinkling smile are one of my fondest memories of the time I spent working in the MCG Thoracic surgery division. There are not enough praises to be said for all he and 'Dr. Lois' have accomplished to improve the quality of life for all. He will be greatly missed, but always remembered as a wonderful person, an outstanding physician and a true gentleman.
