.I loved Bob and he was so kind to me when I got older, taking me to Dr.,library, coming to see me on my 90th. birthday in Charlotte as a surprise while he was flying back to Naples. Dr. Ackles was my dad's best friend for many years and isn't able to write this to him. He was such a kind and loving person and we spoke to him weekly. He suffered but never complained and always had upbeat comments for us during our trials and tribulations in life. He was a wonderful man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. You will be deeply missed. We loved you Bob. The Baker Family

Dr. Ackles was great friend of the family and a very special person. He was a great golfer too. Rest in peace my friend.
