Brother Robert was my 5th grade teacher at Good Shepherd School in NYC in 1985. I just heard about his passing through an old friend, and I am deeply saddened. To this day, he was the best teacher I've had -- including professors at West Point and Harvard. Brother Rob was MY athletic trainer at St Mary's University in Winona, MN for 3 years. He was one of the most compationate people I have known. I have rheumatoid arthritis and played college basketball there with his help. He trained me to allow pain to be easier through his after practice care in the training room.
