I can't remember ever seeing Stan without a smile on his face. The last time I saw him, he was playing the guitar and singing Johnny Be Good. Noah stood in front of the stage and danced.
Marianna and Randall: I love both of you very much and am so sorry for your loss. Dan and I are praying that God will heal your hearts and grant you peace.

I had the pleasure of meeting Stan when my husband and I first moved to Austin. I accepted a job with Vinson & Elkins and, because we had just moved from California, Stan & I seemed to have much in common.
Not long after I left V&E, I ran into Stan in the San Jacincto building and I learned he had moved on also.
I had many fun chats with Stan and I truly enjoyed his stories and his sense of humor. I was shocked to hear of his passing but I am comforted in having known this great guy and am sure he is helping the angels keep laughter in their hearts.

Stan was so much fun to be with - a great talker, listener, guitar player and story teller. He was one of the sweetest, funniest and best people I've ever known. My deepest condolences to his loving family and his many friends. I love you Stan with all my (broken) heart and will miss you forever.

I was so sad when I heard about our friend Stan. I remember smoking with him in SF and trading back and forth sacrastic quips! I know your sweet and bright star will shine forever...I will miss having your light so close though....

Last time I saw Stan was at his going away dinner at this really great, yet really cheesy Mexican restaurant in San Francisco. There was a large group of us and the table was filled with laughter and lively conversation. It was just the right send-off for his new life in Austin.
I will remember Stan's sense of humor and dry wit, his kindness and his willingness. That and the night we all went bowling in Japantown.
My condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed.
Love, peace and serenity to you Stan.

I came to know Stan via his best friend and sister Marianna who is one of my best friends. I was part of his San Francisco family and loved his kindness, humor, charm and OK, good looks. He will be missed, but know he will always be here in his own way. I love you Stan - Pauletty

I met Stan at work in Austin where we discovered we had mutual friends in SF. He was a great friend, was witty and very kind, and always a smile. My deepest condolences to his family who meant so much to him. I will miss him a great deal.

I used to work with Stan and offer my sincerest condolences to his loved ones.
Stan usually worked nights, worked really hard and did great work. What made Stan great to work with was his wry sense of humor--always offbeat, but right on target. He also had fantastic stories about his previous work nabbing shoplifters in San Francisco.

I used to work with Stan. We would take smoke breaks together and he would tell me the funniest stories. His sense of humor was uncanny! I am saddened by the loss.
