Not sure what to say?

Bob was my guidance counselor at Rippowam High. He was the one person that got me through the death of my father when I was 15 yrs old. I sat in his office many hours talking and feeling safe, he was the father figure I lost during some very difficult years of high school. I wish I could have told him just how much he helped me. RIP, you were my greatest memory of High School. God bless

Miss you - my instinct was to send you a Yogi Berra article I came across today. Thinking of you.

Dear Ferrara family,

We are thinking of you all during these days. Bob was a first class person. Myrna and I were so lucky to know Bob for many years and be his friend. He was a colleague at school, and for a time he was a key member of our Camp (Long Ridge Camp) and his loss has been felt by all of us. His friendly smile, charm, wit and good nature is something that is increasingly rare these days. While his loss is hard for all of us to come to terms with, we will always...

knew Mr. Ferrara from Burdick. Wonderful person

Lisa, Maureen, Michael and families,
We couldn't make it to the services today, but our thoughts and prayers were with all of you. Bobby was one of the boys of 56 and my best man. I remember all the great times we had together growing up. You will always be on my mind. Rest in peace dear friend.
Love, Willie and Angie

Jimmy and Elsie and family, we are so sorry for your loss. He was my daughter Lisa’s guidance counselor. I don’t think she would have made it without him. Bobby was a great guy, RIP in the arms of Jesus❤

Mr. Ferrara was my coach at Burdick and Rip. We had many great times and laughs together. He loved to play volleyball. He would give us passes for being late to class in order to finish a game!! We remained in contact through out the years. When he was a councilor and I was teaching at Stratford high school, we would reminisce about the old days and laugh every day during breaks. I will sadly miss him.

Condolences to the Ferrara Family, Relatives and Friends on the passing of Bob. Thru sports we became friends and teammates that started with the 1951 Little League World Series and the 1954 Babe Ruth World Series Championship Teams and continued with American Legion Championship teams in 1955 and 1956. Bob was always a leader on and off the the field and it followed him thru life as a Teacher and Coach. We remained friends until now and he will dearly be missed.
