Robert Fierstein Obituary

Robert Donn "Bobby" Fierstein of Bowie, Maryland passed away peacefully with dignity at the age of 89 in the early morning hours on Monday, July 23, 2018, at his home. Bobby is the devoted husband of 62 years to Barbara E. Fierstein; loving father of Kathleen F. Good and her husband Rick, Craig E. Fierstein and his wife Darlene, and Marla F. Alley and her husband Martin Allen. Loved and cherished grandfather of Kyle Good, Amanda, Kelsey and Brian Fierstein, Kiersten, Austin and Collin Alley, Gavin and Kyle Allen. Bobby was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Children's National Hospital or Hospice of the Chesapeake. Interment and memorial service will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. www.robertevansfuneralhome.com

I'm so sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. He was such a dear person and our beloved neighbor for more than 30 years. It's an honor to have known him. My heart goes out to Barbara and the rest of the family. My you find peace and comfort in loving memories of him.

My Uncle Bobby was the last sibling to pass away of the much-loved Fierstein clan. They were born and raised in Bladensburg, Maryland, and never strayed far from their Prince Georges County roots. Like his siblings, Uncle Bobby's devotion to family extended to dozens of us, and I will always feel blessed to have been included in his embrace. Rest in peace, Uncle Bobby. Love always,
