Not sure what to say?

From a very grateful patient, albeit years late, my deepest condolences to the Fishman Family, UCSF Community and friends. Having been referred to Dr. Fishmen with a rather outrageous migraine hx, Dr. Fishman did not blink an eye; took time with me - lots of time; then, asked me what I thought had started this entire "thing." Knowing him to be the "Migraine Guru west of the Mississippi," I thought I'd better give him the best answer possible, so answered, "It was as though on that July day...

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Dr Fishman was one of my first mentors at UCSF while I was a pediatric neurology resident at UCSF. I will always remember his wonderful teaching and excellent diagnostics. His textbook on cerebrospinal fluid is a classic and should be part of every neurologist's library. Dr. Fishman will be missed.

He was our "Boss" and we loved him.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Dr. Fishman was such a kind gentle man and I will always remember his quiet way and his warm smile. He raised 3 lovely girls - one my best friend for life!!

Dr. Fishman has a very special place in my heart. I have beautiful, funny, warm memories of being welcome in his home during my childhood. My sincere and heart felt condolences to his family, especially his daughters.
