Bobby and I played togeather at Auburn. Both of us were ends and we both played right end. We played for a guy by the name of Big Gene Lorendo. Not sure how we survived. Bobby was a great guy and someone I respected. Always thought the world on Bobby.

I am so sad to hear about Uncle Bobby. I can remember Gina and I always running to him for kisses, and he would always chase us around. He will be deeply missed! I know that he and my dad are smiling at us from heaven, and I can only imagine their joyous laughter! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Daddy,
It is still hard to believe you are no longer with us. It feels as if your disease came and stole you from us like a thief in the night. Mom, Jr. and I are so sad.
The three months we spent by your side fighting will never be forgotten. In lieu of the pain and suffering we will remember the love and kind words we shared with one another. We feel truly blessed for that.
We are also grateful for the wonderful team of doctors, nurses and staff at East Jefferson Hospital who treated you with kindness and compassion throughout your stay. Too many names to mention but they know who they are.
We praise God and thank him everyday for taking you in a timely manner to your resting place in heaven where you no longer have to suffer.
You will FOREVER be in our hearts...

Aunt Kathy, Ann Marie, and Bobby-I am so sorry and saddened by Uncle Bob's passing. He will be missed by many. My fondest memory of him has to be watching him dance at parties and weddings, especially watching him do his famous "ostrich" move. Bobby Jr. we'll leave that up to you to carry on your dad's legacy. Uncle Bobby was a such a fun-loving kind of guy.
