Robert Friedlander Obituary
June 17,1931 - June 4, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Robert (Bob) Friedlander announces his passing on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Peggy and his children Donna Triscoli (John) and Meg MacDonald (Rob), and his granddaughters, Laura Triscoli and Amy Triscoli. He will always be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and extended family and dear friends.
Bob was raised in Larchmont, New York and graduated from the Salisbury School in Salisbury, Connecticut and Duke University in 1954 with a degree in Economics.
After a tour of duty in the U.S. Army, Bob was employed by Eastman Kodak for 30 years as a marketing executive.
Bob and Peggy retired to Sarasota, Florida where Bob was an active member of The Meadows Community for 25 years. He served on a number of Boards and committees at The Meadows, with his most recent position being President of The Meadows Community Association.
Services will be private. Those who so desire may make a donation in memory of Bob to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
