Not sure what to say?

Sunny fagerberg, Sharon - and I worked for dr Fulton as RAs or Department Secretary in the late 60s and 70s. He was making his lectures available on tape. His research partner was Prof Roberta Simmons, spouse of Pioneer Transplant Surgeon Richard Simmons, who made his transplant data base available. Several key studies on decision making and the grieving process. Eric Marcuson was his eclectic and bright grad student. And Viet nam War resistance was being met with pepper fog in front of...

I began teaching death education at Auburn University in 1977, using Bob's pioneering work as my foundation. I shall always be indebted to him for his work. I knew Bob through ADEC -- a fine and compassionate fellow.
To this day I am still working with death-related issues, primarily with the right to die group Final Exit Network.
My sympathies to Bob's family and again, my gratitude for his contributions.

Though I do not know Robert personally, his brief speaks well to my work in hospice from which I will retire in the near future. His work has no doubt blessed many people and helped train others and provide bereavement comfort to many. He will be missed. May your family be blessed and comforted during this time of loss. Rev. Dr. Marcia L.
