Not sure what to say?

My son and I are deeply moved by all the wonderful things said about Bobby. We miss him and will love him forever and always hold him in our hearts.
Debbie and David Gale

I was sorry to miss the celebration of Bobby's life with all of the Gales. I want you all to know you are in my prayers and thoughts. I will never forget Bobby.

My heart is broken today at the loss of a tremendous teammate. It feels like a part of me is gone with Dave and Bobby. I had the perfect vantage point from centerfield almost every game in 1971 to admire Bobby's special gifts and magic behind the plate at
SCC. Bobby's body mechanics and skill set were incredible. His level of agility, quickness, coordination, relaxation and smoothness were so rare to see in a catcher. Watching Bobby play was like watching rows and rows of Dominos...

I regret I can't be in Capay today to join in the celebration of Bobby's life, but he is certainly in my heart; the good memories from our high school years in Davis are at the forefront. I send condolences and best wishes to all the Gales.

To the family of Bob Gale..Roger and I send our sympathy in the passing of Bob.He will be remembered always as a fellow teammate and friend. Lot's of games and good times were had by all during our college baseball years. Again, we are saddened by his passing. From Barbara and Roger Zanze
We will not be able to make the celebration but will be thinking of you all on Saturday...

To the family of Bob Gale: It is not often that an old coach is faced with the loss of two battery mates that were an integral part of a team and time in his professional life that will always be cherished and never forgotetten. First we first lost pitcher, Dave Lanfair, and now catcher, Bobby Gale, two ballplayers who helped make my coaching experience at SCC, along with all the rest of the 1971 Championship team, an unforgettable experience.

But as for Bob, he became more...

Great memories at Bobby's family cabin at Strawberry Logde....TREMENDOUS HILL, EDDIE THE BARTENDER WITH THE BIGGEST PAIR OF PANTS KNOWN TO MANKIND....EDDIE, EDDIE ,EDDIE.....!!!! DOCTOR THE CHAIN MAN, THE DOCTOR SAYS 'WHEW IT'S HOT IN HERE' SNOW ANGELS, TRAPPER ON THE OUTSIDE DECK, BEER KEG IN THE BACK DOOR SNOW WALL....Thank you Bobby and Debbie Gail for the lifetime of unforgetable memories.....Bill Stowers

To Jeff and Mike Gale families:
I'm saddened to receive the news about
Bob's passing. He was such a talented
ball player and an excellent craftsman
in the construction industry. He will be missed by many who knew him.

Bob - I'll never forget many of the adventures we had at SCC and in San Diego. It was great spending those times around you and definitely learned a lot about life. I'm forever grateful!
