Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathies to the Gibson family. I'm a native Omahan living in Tucson Arizona but growing up I idolized Bob Gibson. H e was such a great player. As I have gotten older I have matured to value just what a fine ambassador to the game he was and How kind of a person he was. I met him as a kid in Omaha ironically a day that I was in tow with all my baseball cards of Omaha natives abd he personally signed over 40 cards of his. I was just in awe of him as I was 14 years old at the time....

Memories of midget baseball ( Woodbine, Iowa) in the late 40s. Rest in peace, Bob, to a fine gentleman and the best athlete I was ever privileged to know. Dan Dankof ( Hamburg, Iowa)

The members of the Tech High Class of 1951 extend their sympathy to the family of Bob

I want to offer my heartfelt sympathy to the entire Gibson family. Thank you for sharing your loved one with us. Mr. Gibson was my childhood hero and I am forever thankful for it.

To Bob Gibson. You were brought into our homes by Harry Caray and Jack Buck. You were our 'proud' warrior. You will never be forgotten sir. May God bless you and to your family. Thanks for the memories

Our family has enjoyed the company of Wendy and Bob over the years. On the field he was fierce and competitive. Off the field was caring and sociable. His family and friends will remember him kindly. We will include Bob and Wendy in our prayers.

Mr. Gibson was an amazing man. I had the pleasure of getting to know him through my grandpa Neal Mosser. I always loved to hear my grandpa talk about What great athlete he was when my grandfather coached him at tech high. May you all find peace during this time.

To the family my heart and prayers go out to y'all I was a close friend of Annette we we were roommates in Lincoln once I'm sorry for you loss

Enjoyed playing a season of baseball with Bobby at Tech High circa 1953... great person and great athlete. Sorry for your loss.
