Not sure what to say?

Amazing person and wishing Lori Ann and all the Goebel family our sympathies --so glad I was able to play with Bob on that Amazing 1965 State Championship New Holstein Husky Baseball Team. Ironically , Elmer Casper , Jim Freund and Peter Pfister--all of us Holy Landers living here in Minnesota are playing golf together today. And we ll certainly remember Bob and Family and have a drink or two and play some sheephead , of course !! Having been born in Mt Calvary makes these an even more...

As a classmate and teammate for 4 years at NHHS you could not ask for better person. His dry sense of humor kept everyone on their toes. I will always have fond memories of the years we knew each other.I'm sure all his former teammates will always have their favorite stories to tell about Bob. We will miss him.

Jeff,Sorry to hear about the loss of your brother..Hope you and your family are doing ok. Glen

My deepest sympathies to you Lori and family. I was a classmate of Bob's, and really loved his way of treating all of our class. He was so kind to others, and always made time for a joke or two. My mother Bernie was one of the best friends that his mother could have had....living in St. Cloud surely made it that way...and now for Bob, it was the same. He will always be remembered, and as a classmate, he will be very well missed! Now he is with his mom and dad, and NO MORE PAIN.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I worked with Bob for a few years at Fond du Lac County. Bob was a kind man and a pleasure to work with. It was an honor to have know him.

Bob Goebel ---a person whose life was punctuated by being the best pitcher, team mate and friend we ll ever have who drove the bus to a great Husky State Championship team with his arm. And who also , as a father , person and husband was a true champion in life too----Bob--the good Lord needed a great pitcher and starter up there===you will be missed by all who knew and loved you and whose lives you touched --sincerely --
Marge and Wayne Mueller !! Your centerfielder on the 65 State...

To Bob's Family:

My deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of Bob. I remember cheering for him as he was an excellent basketball and baseball player at New Holstein High School.
With sincere sympathy,
Anne Berenz
New Holstein High Class of 1966

Lori, I am so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I know nothing I can say will make you feel any better. Please know that I am thinking and praying for you and the family. Lynn (Franzen) Zimmermann

Lori,

Please accept my deepest condolences at Bob's passing. His quiet sense of humor was always good for a laugh, and his kindness could always be counted on for a good deed. Bob was the coolest of cousins, and just an all-around great guy; my life is richer for having known him. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
