Greenkorn family. I was a graduate student at Purdue when Bob first came to start his incredible career. Bob had a tremendous impact on me. He set high standards but had this knowledge of the industrial world that really set him apart. Bob - of course then he was Prof Greenlorn- was a person I wanted to emulate. Dr. Greenkorn was one of my favorite professors while I was at Purdue pursing my BS Chem. E and PhD. One of my favorite classroom memories was when he came to class with sport coat and tie and proceeded to teach the class while removing his coat and tie, then rolling up his sleeves by midway through the lecture.
