Dr Greenstein was my daughters doctor he “educated” me slowly and compassionately about my daughters illness (Tay-Sachs) he was kind, patient, and because of him I was able to face a long hard road and he was there for us even at two am he would answer the phone and meet us at the hospital, never before nor since were we lucky enough to have a doctor like him! He was a blessing in our life through my daughters illness. He was the best, absolutely. Jennifer’s mom.

Dear Arlene & family, I just learned of Dr Greenstein's passing from Joyce Fritz.0, our administrator of the 1985-87 MCH grant on access to genetic services as funding for genetic services transitioned to our pluralistic health care system. To the Greenstein Family - My husband and I came to Dr. Greenstein approximately 11 years with our beautiful boy. With compassion and great care Dr. Greenstein diagnosed our son with Angelman Syndrome, a somewhat rare neurogenetic disorder. I will never forget Dr. Greenstein's gentle manner as he counseled us at this life changing moment. After talking with numerous families around the world about their experiences, we have realized how fortunate we were to have had access to Dr. Greenstein's...

Very fortunately for me, I matched and benefited from an incredibly exceptional training program with Dr. G.. The learning experience was outstanding and it was such a...

Dr. Greenstein is the most compassionate and caring doctors I have ever met. I met him when my son was only 2 months old in the ICU at CCMC, hanging on by a thread to survive. He was so compassionate and forthcoming on what we were facing. He quietly reassured me that "miracles happen every day" beyond what modern medicine can ever explain. For the next 15 years he had tears in his eyes and a huge smile on his face every time he saw my son. He is now 22 and doing great, thanks in large...

Dr Greenstein was our introduction to genetics when our daughter was born in 1984, she had Trisomy 13. He was a brilliant, kind and understanding man. His life touched so many with such purpose. We are all God's instruments, he was an orchestra!
