Not sure what to say?

I, too, was with Bob at LMU, '77. A lovely tribute to him and his very generous scholarship gift to the university appeared in the LMU MAGAZINE in today's mail. Recalling his ready smile and hearty laugh. My condolences to the family.

I attended Loyola Marymount University with Bob and graduated in the same class he did. He was well liked by all he came in contact with. Friendly, personable, great sense of humor. Rest in peace, sir.

Bob and I first met as Engineering Trainees in Gas System Design in 1978. Bob always brought a smile to those of us in (or near) the office with him.

We spent several months together working side-by-side each day. Bob and I connected a few times after I left PGandE and he moved on to bigger and better things. He was always happy to reconnect and share stories of times at the utility.

My condolences and prayer to Cheryl.

I first got to really know Bob when he was my Manager in the mid 90's in Gas Distribution & Technical Services; he was a great boss, and we all knew that the wellbeing of his employees was important to him. I really enjoyed working with Bob, his positive attitude, and his clever humor. Over the years, I worked with Bob in various aspects, and always liked hearing his stories! I remember how excited he was to be attending a fantasy rock & roll camp, and you could just picture him jammin'...

My heartfelt condolences to Cheryl and Family. Bob exuded warmth and kindness and I've many a good memory of times spent together in Fresno and then back to Walnut Creek. He will be missed by many, because he touched so many.

Bob was one of those people you just enjoyed being around...Bob even made work enjoyable! He will be greatly missed...My thoughts and prayers are with Cheryl and family.

I have known Bob 30 years and will miss him dearly. He always had a smile and a chuckle every time we met. We had the best of times at and after PGE from Fresno to San Francisco to Walnut Creek. We could always count on each other in good and tough times. I will miss his jolly laughter and kind words. What a wonderful and warm human being. My sincerest condolences and prayers go out to Cheryl and family.

So sorry...
He was a friend, mentor, and just a great man. Regardless of the situation you could always count on Bob's smile and upbeat attitude to make it better.

As a next door neighbor to Bob and Cheryl for many years, I am so sorry for his passing. He has always helped me when needed to figure out my watering system or lift something that I can't. He was always so friendly and great to talk to. I''m sorry that he isn't able to enjoy his retirement that he so deserves. He has worked so hard for PGE. They were lucky to have him. Happy that he and Cheryl have been able to take their trips to Europe these past few years. Wishing Cheryl strength to...
