Not sure what to say?

Mr. Hall was my painting instructor at Flagler College, 1976 through 1980. He was one of the best men I have known. I benefited from his instruction and friendship. My dearest sympathies to his family. His joy of Life, Art, People, and History is how I will fondly remember him.

Dear Gudrun, I just saw this notice when I came across Bob´s card among Lu´s keepsakes. It´s hard to recall those wonderful days of historic re-enactments with your lovely company and his engaging and informed historical perspectives. A gentleman of many facets and talents, he gave my husband a welcoming niche in their colorful re-enactments in St. Augustine. . I will miss him as i miss you both.

As a founding member of 'RETFOG5', he will be greatly missed. I didn't know Bob well, but knew of him and his St. Augustine early history activities. He certainly seemed to relish his involvement with these histories; and his knowledge of these histories, gave him passion for reenactment. Once in character, his realistic 'edge' was there for all to see. He was a true champion of the City of St. Augustine. He remained involved with the growth of the city and did what he could to ensure...

We participated in many reenactments together during the observation of the bicentennial of the American Revolutionary War around the southeastern states as well as local events. Recently, over the past year or two, "Don Roberto" has been part of our Monday morning veteran's coffee group at...

Dear Gudrun: So sorry to hear about Robert. I have fond memories of interviewing you two in your beautiful home.
My deepest sympathy to you and your daughter.

Gudrun and Renda condolences on your loss. Bob was such a great friend. I will miss our visits we had with him over the last 20 years.

My advisor and very best teacher at Flagler College - rest in peace Bob. You were very special. Sandra Mongeon

I was so sorry to hear of Roberts passing and even more upset that I was unable to attend the service this morning. My condolences to the family. He will always be remembered as a good and kind man.

Such a very sad loss for our community and for all of us who had the distinct opportunity to share time and space with this scholarly, kind gentleman.
