Not sure what to say?

Bob and Sheila are old old friends. They were very dear to my heart. Both smart as a whip. Good faith filled people. In Appleton West HS there was a room dedicated for the teachers called the Early American Room. We would meet there monthly. Our friendship started with the new teachers group.
Louise and Bob Kohls

Learned about much more than chemistry in his class in 1978-1979 at Appleton East. Loved his definition of equilibrium - and I smile whenever I think of it!

To the family - please know that he touched many more people than you will ever imagine.
Thank you for sharing him with us. We will all hold onto the memories!

May he Rest In Peace.

Bob ( Mr. Hallada to our class ) was my Chemistry teacher the 1968 -1969 School year at Appleton East. He made the subject interesting and accessible to the class while also having high expectations for learning. He was also just a good guy who you could talk to and feel like he cared about your individual learning. He had fun as well with some chemical reactions under the vent hood that really got everyone's attention! I'm sure all who were close to him through the years will miss...

Bob was a good guy. A few years back we would see Bob and Sheila at St. Joseph Church in Appleton. Both were very nice people. God Bless.

I taught one year in Appleton and Bob gave me some advise. "Don't smile the first semester...and don't smile the second semester."

Mr. Hallada was one of those teachers you remember for a lifetime. I still enjoy telling stories of his Advanced Chemistry Lab class at Appleton East ('81-82) which my friends and I attended. He approved experiments that quite frankly surprised us at the time, and likely wouldn't fly today. But our interest in chemistry was hooked. I ended up going to college for Microbiology, but had a minor in chemistry. And I worked the first 9+ years of my career as a Chemist, a role I was not expecting...

Bob was a good friend and colleague at East High School. I will remember times hunting in the early years. Rest in peace.

Mr. Hallada was a wonderful teacher and I was so fortunate to have been one of his Chemistry students. RIP Mr. Hallada.

Mr. Hallada was the best teacher I had: thoughtful, caring, and enthusiastic about his subject. RIP, Bob.
