Robert (Bob) E. Hamblett, 76, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Natick, MA, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2018. He fought a valiant battle against cancer with courage and dignity. He is the son of the late George and Dorothy (McKeever) Hamblett. Bob is survived by his wife Patricia Hamblett and their three sons: Sean Hamblett and his wife Kristin of Brookline, NH; Michael Hamblett and his wife Amanda of Madison, CT and Kevin Hamblett and his wife Nicole of Seattle, WA. Bob leaves behind seven wonder- ful grandchildren. Bob is also survived by his sister Jane Caterina and her husband Vin of Conway, South Carolina and his brother Gregory Hamblett of Brockton, MA as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Jack Hamblett of Milton, Vermont and his brother Donald Hamblett of Brockton, MA. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Paul Cordella and his wife Pat of Framingham, MA; his brother-in-law Stephen Cordella of Framingham, MA and his dear friends Al and Norma McEvoy of Wayland, MA. Bob spent 20 years as a firefighter and EMT for the Weston Fire Department in MA and many years as a licensed electrician. He generously shared his talents with friends and acquaintances both in MA and FL. His passion for golf was a driving force in his move to Fort Myers. We ask that you remember his giving nature and that you pay it forward in his name. A memorial mass will be celebrated at an undeterm- ined date in MA this summer

Bob was one of those people you meet in your life that you know you are going to like and spend time with. We spent many hours on the golf course and (sorry Pat) many hours after golf at the Tiki Bar. He was a very caring person and I had the opportunity to take him to the Landings several times when I worked there and he never failed to surprise me with a case of Bud Light in my car the next time we were at Myerlee. We are going to miss you - "you dickens". I am glad I had the opportunity to get to know you and spend as much time as I was able to with you.
