Not sure what to say?

Your father hired me to teach biology fresh out of Ball State. I taught at Twin Lakes for 2 years. He was a great educator and administrator. His legacy lives on at Twin Lakes and throughout Indiana. I also remember the days at Geneva as an elementary student. I really appreciated the friendship I had with Kevin during those years. May you all have a blessed time as a family.

To all my Hanni cousins, condolences on your dad's passing. I have fond, childhood memories of both your dad and mom. Blessings, Cindy

With the deepest of sympathy and prayers for peace.

Another great Geneva Cardinal has passed. God bless. Bob Patti McCabe

My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to the family. A special prayer for you Karen, a very special person. Doc left an impression on everyone he knew, and leaves a legacy behind. God bless.

Cary, Karen, Kevin, Don & Duane,

My heartfelt condolences to you and your families in the loss of your dad.

Dr. Hanni, thank you for your kindness.

Dr. Hanni was my guidance counselor at Berne French High School and as such gave me invaluable advice. He was a great mentor in helping me toward choosing a career in teaching and I later was pleased to meet him at a state hearing on early childhood education while teaching kindergarten. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. May you all feel the wings of angels wrapped around you in comfort. He was such a special and caring man who was indeed dedicated to the world of education.
