Bob was a true patriot and gentleman. He was instrumental in keeping the Old Soldiers Reunion continuing during the Pandemic and times of isolation. He always gave a 100% to whatever task he undertook. We are so blessed to have called him Friend and veteran. Even in sickness he always tried to cheer others rather than dwell on himself. Bob Hibbitts was my dear friend and probably the best man I have ever known. Bob set the bar for what a man should be. He cared about others no matter their socioeconomic background. Bob Hibbitts was the real deal. I have been blessed to know this man and having the distinction of saying; "Bob Hibbitts was my friend". He was loyal to me and I was loyal to Bob; true friends.
