I was in the Va Air Guard in the electric shop in the F-105 days (full time) and had the wonderful experience to help train Bob in maintaining the "Thud." He would usually come in for drills during the week rather than normal drill weekends with his co-heart Curt Messic. Just a really super guy. just found the article of his passing this morning (Jan 30) My condolences to the family.
