I only found out recently that he died, and I had sadly lost touch with him as well. However, he was a regular fixture in my childhood and one of the few grownups that I also considered a friend. I´m gladdened to see that he was a beloved teacher to many as well.

I was out of touch with Bob and several other mutual friends when I heard of his passing. He was a great guy and I truly regret not having maintained our friendship. RIP Bob

I was stunned to see Bob's name on the list of us from the FSU Law School Class of 1977 who have passed away. We lost contact with each other 20 or so years ago and I sure regret it now. You were a wonderful guy Bob Tirelli. I'm glad you were in my life. It saggens me to know we won't share another laugh in this life time. I guess we'll have to wait for the next.

Bob made life fun! Not just for himself but for those of us lucky enough to know him! It's hard to believe he is gone. We will miss his love, his laugh, and his generous spirit! We couldn't have a finer friend in this life. Rest in Peace, Bobby...We love you.

Dearest Bob, you exuded life itself, which makes this all that much harder to believe. When you walked into a room, you didn't just light it up, you lifted it 10 feet off the ground. You always shortened long faces and turned frowns to smiles, if not downright riotous laughter. Always "Gleefully" ready to lend a helping hand, a green back or implement, a word of encouragement, a pat on the back; magically always knowing, intrinsically, what a person's situation needed and giving your all to that cause. I am truly blessed to have known you for a little while here on Earth, where I just know, you were always an Angel in Training. I know they must be as happy to see you up there as we are all saddened to see you go. You are very Loved down here. Hooty Hoo and God Speed Bob-O!

There will never be another BOB. He was the greatest friend to me for over 42 years. I am so very happy I was able to speak with him during his hospital stay. He told me he loved me, and I told him, the same. So, that is the bottom line. He left a legacy of love, dedication to helping others, and I never once in 42 years saw Bob without a SMILE on his face, or a twinkle in his eye. He made us all happy. BOB WAS "THE MAN." I will miss him all the days of my life...Until, I see you again, my dear friend. Donna Darlin'
