Ms. Avis, Mr. Robert was an amazing person. He was a kind hearted, loving, and honest man. He was a man of honor and integrity.... He was a hero. I remember when Nick went to fix your roof, he was so impressed with Mr. Robert, because he talked to him as if he had known him forever, and he was as he put it, "One of the nicest men he had ever met.". My heart hurts for you, your children grandson, and extended family... I know how hard this is for all of you. I know that he is looking over you with pride, and love just as he did when he was on this Earth. It was so obvious that his family was his pride and joy in everything that he did. I will forever hold the memory of us sitting at the table with you and Mr. Robert that Saturday before he passed. He was so happy.... We talked and laughed. Before you all left, I hugged him goodbye.. Little did I know it would be the last time I would get that chance to hug him...I loved that man... He was one of a kind, and he will be missed forever. I love you, and your family... You will continue to be in my prayers, and you know that I am always here for you.

Dear Avis and family,
I was so sorry to here of the death of your husband and father. Stephanie and I only new you for a short period of time, but felt close because of friendship with his sisters' Cathy and JoAnn. It is so hard to understand how someone so young kind be gone so soon. May God take him into is arms and give you the soles that he is in heaven. We will pray for you and the family.
