Rob I was saddened to hear of your passing. I met you in the police explorers back when we were teens and remember the fun times we had. Even though we lost touch after those days you were one of those who I never forgot and often thought about. Sorry we didn't touch base since then. You will be missed. Rest in Peace!

I worked with Rob for the better part of 14 years at MYC and will miss all the great journeys we took together as we figured out this thing we called counseling. You have impacted my life in too many ways to describe, all positive and all meaningful. I will miss you dearly and will never forget the great things you have done and inspired at McLaughlin. My sincerest condolences to Rob's wife, his family, his friends, his teammates and to those he touched throughout his many years as a coach,...

What an enormous loss. My heart goes out to Rob's wife, family, friends and coworkers. I met Rob shortly after I moved to Alaska in 1996 and was fortunate enough to spend a good chunk of my life with him. He taught me so much about relationships, working with youth, embracing the great Alaska outdoors, pushing my limits and, most important of all, how to be a better person. I am extremely grateful and fortunate to have known Rob. This world will always feel colder without him in it.

One of the most caring and compassionate people I know. He loved his job at MYC, his family, friends, and the outdoors. He was always a pleasure to work with. Lighting a candle for you, Rob! You will be missed
