While I was stationed with Bob at RAF Upper Heyford, UK in the 1960ies. We lived in Bay #2 of the Transportation Barracks (open bays). We got to know everyone well. Knowing Bob and having him as our friend was knowing life and true friendship. What wonderful memories of our time in England and all those other times thereafter together enjoying each other. Our hearts are heavy, but our memories will keep us always thinking of Bob. To Sandie, may our friendship continue with Bob smiling down on us all. Our prayers and love to Bob's family always.

To Bob's family, in your time of sorrow, I know Bob is now with God, sailing on Heaven's sea. I am glad I served with Bob at RAF Upper Heyford, England in the USAF.

I am glad he made it to the Branson Heyford Reunion. He will be remembered fondly by all those who served with him. I will miss him a lot, but will...
