I will always remember Bob fondly from our time being stationed at RAF Upper Heyford in SAC in the early 1960ies.

While I was stationed with Bob at RAF Upper Heyford, UK in the 1960ies. We lived in Bay #2 of the Transportation Barracks (open bays). We got to know everyone well. One of Bob's best friends at Heyford was Dave MacDonald. I married Dave's cousin Gail Cookingham (54 years married). I looked up to Bob because he was a few years older than me. I remember the cut-off sweatshirt he always wore that said the "USA Olympic Drinking Team." We had a lot of good laughs in those times. I am sure Bob is up in Heaven sailing on the sea of Heaven. I am glad I got to see him at the 2004 Heyford Reunion in Branson. God Bless his memory!!

Knowing Bob and having him as our friend was knowing life and true friendship. What wonderful memories of our time in England and all those other times thereafter together enjoying each other. Our hearts are heavy, but our memories will keep us always thinking of Bob. To Sandie, may our friendship continue with Bob smiling down on us all. Our prayers and love to Bob's family always.

To Bob's family, in your time of sorrow, I know Bob is now with God, sailing on Heaven's sea. I am glad I served with Bob at RAF Upper Heyford, England in the USAF.
If he and MAC had not been there I do not know if I would have made it through my tour. Bob was like a big brother to me. He had a great sense of humor and loved life. I am glad he made it to the Branson Heyford Reunion. He will be remembered fondly by all those who served with him. I will miss him a lot, but will remember him always. Jim Seymour
