Liz and Eric our thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones. Sadly we never had the privilege of meeting your father. However, we can plainly see the fine qualities of your upbringing that make you the wonderful person that you are.

May your spirit be filled with comfort and your heart filled with peace,
Give praise to our father and master of whom we will someday meet.

In the fields of golden grass and clouds that shimmer brightly,

I miss my Buddy, but You're now fishing with the Best!

I miss coming over. Now I find myself in the middle of the day with nothing to do. Wish you'd answer that door just one more time. I miss your daily phone calls; coming home & hearing your voice on the machine, "Hello... It's me again, call me back." Then when we'd stop by, I could tell in your voice that you really missed us. That truly meant a lot. I don't have a family, you guys are my family. You raised some Beautiful & intelligent girls; wish I had a father like you.
You know that...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

August 26, 2011
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and...

We have been so blessed to not only welcome a new daughter to our family but also welcome her family to ours. We knew from the time Eric and Liz started going out that she was the one for him. Little did we know that we would also become great friends with her family. As time went by you were no longer considered just "friends" but family. We will always have great memories of the times we were together on holidays, fish fries, campfires and just hanging out. Bob we are going to miss you...

Liz and Stephanie - losing my father is a hard thing to do, I am so very sorry that you had to go through this, my sympathies and prayers. Donna - I can't imagine what its like to lose a husband. You are a strong woman and you are very lucky to have such a wonderful support system. My sympathies and prayers go to you as well.

As long as I have known Liz, and her family, I have seen the love her dad had for her and her sister. Although, I did not know Bob as well as most, I always knew that I was welcome at their home and that I could always count on a laugh when I was there. He will be greatly missed, always loved, and never forgotten.

I did not get to spend much time with uncle bob since I grew up and started my own family, But I can say without a second thought I loved him! He would give you the shirt off his back! literally!(not to mention rent a Plymouth Sundance and take you to your drivers test.)He will be greatly missed!!The world needs more Uncle Bob's!!!!
