Liz and Eric our thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones. Sadly we never had the privilege of meeting your father. However, we can plainly see the fine qualities of your upbringing that make you the wonderful person that you are.
May your spirit be filled with comfort and your heart filled with peace,
Give praise to our father and master of whom we will someday meet.
In the fields of golden grass and clouds that shimmer brightly,
Your father shares the glory to be with our Lord God Almighty.
Feel not pain and grief but praise of sigh and relief,
For now your father quietly rests in a peaceful sleep.
Be strong and always treasure those moments with a smiling face,
For it is the love of a true father that you have been graced.
In our absence we can only wish for words of comfort knowing your father is in a much better place than we can ever imagine.
God Bless,

I miss my Buddy, but You're now fishing with the Best!

I miss coming over. Now I find myself in the middle of the day with nothing to do. Wish you'd answer that door just one more time. I miss your daily phone calls; coming home & hearing your voice on the machine, "Hello... It's me again, call me back." Then when we'd stop by, I could tell in your voice that you really missed us. That truly meant a lot. I don't have a family, you guys are my family. You raised some Beautiful & intelligent girls; wish I had a father like you.
You know that saying, Birds of a feather flock together? That's why we're so close. We're so much alike. You put a smile on my face every time you spoke & vise versa. ?My friend, ?my drinking buddy, ?my fishing partner, ?my Uncle. I miss you terribly, you're a great roll model, someone we could always rely on. Thanks for blessing me with someone to vent to, moving & painting all my appartments, celebrating the birthdays with my family, playing with boxes of toys & building tents for my girls while you babysat them, but most of all just spending time with me.
Until we meet again, Cheers BFF!
? Love you, Jamie ?
? xoxo ?

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

We have been so blessed to not only welcome a new daughter to our family but also welcome her family to ours. We knew from the time Eric and Liz started going out that she was the one for him. Little did we know that we would also become great friends with her family. As time went by you were no longer considered just "friends" but family. We will always have great memories of the times we were together on holidays, fish fries, campfires and just hanging out. Bob we are going to miss you dearly and we have mixed emotions because we know you are happy in heaven, but we are grieving because we miss you here with us. Donna, Stephanie and Liz just remember when you are feeling sad that Bob is looking down on you and telling you that he is happy and is with you always.
Love always, Jim, Kathy, and Nick

As long as I have known Liz, and her family, I have seen the love her dad had for her and her sister. Although, I did not know Bob as well as most, I always knew that I was welcome at their home and that I could always count on a laugh when I was there. He will be greatly missed, always loved, and never forgotten.

Hi dad! I'm going to miss the sound of your voice and how you call me pumpkin and Liz babes. I'm going to miss the strong bear hugs you give me and how you make me smile. The house is quiet without you, I no longer have you to argue with or blame stuff on ;) I loved how we had our own special relationship and I wouldn't change it for the world! I'm proud that mom says we are so much alike because you were kind and helped everyone. I am proud to be your daughter! Thank you for serving our country. Thank you for the love you have shown and given me. I do not understand why God has taken you away from us so suddenly but it was all in HIS plan. I find comfort that you are with Jesus and no longer suffering in pain. I pray that you will be my guardian angel and watch over me. Right now it is hard without you and I miss you so much but I have faith that we will meet again in heaven! I love you and always will!!

Uncle Bob was more than a Uncle to me. He was more like a father. Bob always was there to help out and give me a hand when needed. He also taught me alot about everything from fishing to home repairs. The one thing I will miss the most, is the smile he always put on my face. Uncle Bob was the most loving, caring, and thoughtful person I have ever met. I will truly miss all the joy he brought me. Love you Bob, you really were a great Uncle, and a great friend. I will miss you forever.

Though I can't say we were very close, you were still a member of my family. There will always be a missing spot in our lives. I'm glad that I got to meet you all again and had some time to be around, and I'm very happy you got to see your beautiful grandson. All my love and sympathies to Liz, Steph, and Donna. <3 <3

Dad I miss you very much. I made you a slideshow today. :) you'll never guess what Kiptyn learned.....he figured out how to scream! So he goes around the house screaming. We found many good pictures and memories the other day. Brought a smile to my face and a warm heart. You did everything with us. To pogo sticking to roller coasters to letting us paint your toe nails and not get mad. I'm going to miss you very much and can't wait to see you again. I love you always and forever. @~~^~~ rose for you. Love Babes
