I met Pastor Lambert on a Thursday night in 1978.It was my second date with Larry Stephens, and he brought me to a mission meeting at his church. I was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and in several ministries but I was able to visit St. James on the Sundays that I wasn't in ministry. Today I reflect on the legacy Pastor Lambert left his family and the members of St. James Holy Missionary Baptist Church. I thank God for the time I shared with him and how he helped support my Faith and my walk with the Lord. I can still hear him telling me to read my Bible and hold on to my Faith. Not to mention his favorite quote when you ask how he was doing? He would always say "Best day of my life "

Pastor Lambert brought my 2 sisters to the Lord when they were 14 and 15 years old. I can never thank God enough for you. Since then one of my sisters has passed and he was there for her every step of the way, He even came to Fresno with the choir to conduct the services. I didn't know about your passing but I can truly say that you were a mighty man of God. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

So, sorry to hear of Rev Lamberts passing. He truly was a good person.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. I know Rev. is dancing right now and having the best day of his life in the presence of the Lord. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

I can't express the lasting imprint Pastor Lambert left on my heart and soul. He was a great influence in my spiritual walk for the last 4 years. He and Sister Lambert welcomed me and my Niece into their lives with open arms giving unconditional love as our surrogate parents.
