Not sure what to say?

Mary and family, I want you to know how much you and Preacher Bob have meant in my life. Both of you have been a tremendous inspiration to me in times of turmoil and hardship. I looked to Preacher Bob as if he were my own father. He is the best man I have ever known, with the exception of my Daddy, of course.

I will cherish the purple hymnal you two gave me forever as well as the kind words you both wrote in it. You have helped me so much and there is no way to express how much...

Just wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We have so many good memories when all our families were together. Mama and daddy always loved to hear you and Robert sing, now they can hear it everyday! What a joy!

Lots of love,
Melanie and Vannette

We learned of Bob's passing too late to participate in his memorial services. We have many memories - Gordon's Chapel, Camp Glisson, Junaluska, the Houseparties, etc. Our memories certainly include Mary and Rob. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love and peace,
Paul and Sylvia Hanna

He said "No need..you've already passed the 'mama test.' " We had a laugh and I spent the summer of...

I knew that Rev. Lanford had been battling kidney cancer for some time. After reading about him in today's AJC, I wanted to extend my condolences to his family & friends. His impact & ministry will be felt by many for a long time.

It has been years since I had the pleasure of speaking with Rev. Lanford and that is my loss but I can't even begin to count the number of times that I have thought of him. I was a child attending Camp Glisson year after year and "Uncle Bob" as he was known to everyone was a major contributor to that experience. He obviously meant so much to so many people and for me, it was the Glisson experience with Uncle Bob that I will always treasure. He truly had an impact on countless lives.
