Rob was a kind, quiet, steady rock of a guy. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends and remembered with such great fondness. Sweet and unflappable with babies, kids and dogs, Rob was also such a "guy" in his outside hobbies and interests: following sports, fishing, golfing and putzing in his workshop. I hope there is a Heaven..... and that Rob is there with much loved dogs, family and friends who have gone before him.

Rob and I grew up together in Southern California and have known each other since Jr. High School. When he moved into the neighborhood, all we cared about the new guy was whether or not he could place baseball... which he did.. he was an all-star! We played baseball together for years thereafter, always laughing and trying to out-play one another. We developed a lifelong friendship and went on to share memories that only good friends can do... school, sports, parties, car wrecks, surfing...
