Dear Mary and family, We are so sorry to hear about your loss. What a beautiful and kind person Bob was. He touched so many people's lives, made such a difference in our community and now has left such a powerful impression on this earth. He represented his legacy family and community very well. He will be greatly missed. What an honor it was to have known him. As your neighbors, we send our love & sympathies. As a proud Lazarus-Macy's Senior Executive, I send my highest regards and deepest respect for such an incredible man. God bless his soul. Nancy & Art Russo

Sad to hear of Robert's death. He left an impression with carrying on his family retail business. Also, he is appreciated for his interest in the performing arts, spearheading the Martin Luther King Arts Center, and the Lincoln and Southern Theaters. So appreciated and he will be missed.
May Robert rest in peace until he is resurrected back to life.

To the Lazarus family, I am so very sorry for your loss and may peace and comfort be with you at this time. I have lived in Columbus most of my life and I will always remember Lazarus Dept Store. I have fond memories of Lazarus, this store became a family shopping enjoyment and with that I will always appreciate what your family has done for our community. You have brought to me and many others wonderful memories that will never be forgotten. Sincerely Tandrea Nash
