GREENVILLE -- Robert Leroy Leas, July 7, 1957 – November 8, 2025. Robert was born on July 7, 1957, in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio, the son of the late Frank Donald Leas and Peggy Ann (Cruze) Anthony.
Robert was a veteran of the United States marine Corps from 1976-1980 where he served as a tank crewman and firefighter. Bob was fully retired in 2019 and had worked many years in different capacities; the Marine Corps, then after active duty he worked in the Cable Communications Industry in Indiana, Maryland, Ohio, and Virginia. He was an Auxiliary Policeman in Indiana.
Robert was very loved by his family and loved them more than anything; he was an All American who loved sports especially baseball and collecting baseball cards; his favorite teams were the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals; he was always there for anyone who needed him.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son Tyler Leas, brothers Gary Leas, and Doug Leas, and his previous wife Ronda Leas.
Robert is survived by his wife Jeanette (Arnett) Leas, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Christina Leas of Liberty, Indiana; grandchildren, Michael Leas Jr., Makayla Leas, Samuel Leas, Jaison Cruz, Damien Cruz, Jessica Cruz, Donovan Cruz, Aarron Cruz, Gabriella Cruz, Curtis Wines, Anabella Lombardi; sister, Rebecca Leas of New Madison, Ohio; half-brother, Ronald Leas of Kentucky; niece, Alissa Leas; and nephews, Israel Leas, and Robert G. Leas.
To honor Roberts' wishes, there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the local food bank.

Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Bobby. My husband and I both knew him from high school. Always had a beautiful smile. Also grew up and was close to Rhonda. And graduated with Jeanette. So saddened to hear this.
