Robert Scott Logie

I´m so very sad to hear of Scott´s passing. He and I knew eachother professionally at first and then last summer, he let a handful of us know of his diagnosis and so Scott and I started to meet as frequently as we could for breakfasts, lunches and the occasional concert over the course of the year. He was always stoic, upbeat; could recite the score of any college or professional sport going on at any time anywhere. He really enjoyed his travels to Florida, the Bahamas, Idaho, Pennsylvania...

Scott was a great guy. I am proud that he is my cousin and my years at UCC were better because of him

I had the pleasure to work with Scotty on the Salomon corporate bond trading desk in the late 80s. Scotty loved being a Solly trader and his swagger in the markets was legendary. In my 35+ years on the Street I never encountered a trader who analyzed relative value, controlled markets or was more respected by coworkers and competitors alike as my friend Scotty. He did all this and always had time for Lugers and his family. I can´t even imagine the trouble he is getting into with Lads right now.
