To Joan, Allyn, and Philip, I was deeply saddened to hear about Bob's passing. My dad, Bill Martin, was Bob´s favorite cousin (at least that is how he likes to remember it!), and I have fond memories of the stories Dad has shared with me about their adventures growing up as children. Both Bill and Bob were engineers, explorers at heart, always filled with curiosity and a love for the outdoors. Their bond over family, science projects and nature was something I admired growing up.
